IT’S WEIRD…
that this is my last Christmas as a teenager…
and I’m about to start the next decade of my life.
I’m sad.
I was supposed to be a Christmas baby, but came late. It’s been 20 years since I was supposed to be born! Freaky deaky.
But to celebrate (though a little late just like I was!), here’s an old picture of Emily and me during the holiday season in the previous decade of our lives. :)
So here’s to the last few days of being a teenager, and another great (or hopefully just better) decade of my life.

A small collection of pictures from Westwood Class of ‘11’s graduation today! I’m so happy and proud of you guys. I can’t believe you all have graduated also because in my mind, you’re still little sophomores when in actuality you’re already college-bound. Crazy! But so happy for you guys, and I hope you all take advantage of the best summer ever. :)

It was a weird feeling being there as someone who had already gone through the process. A combination of elation, nostalgia, sadness, and surprise (due to how fast the administrators managed to get through the whole thing, holy crap!). It was especially weird to think that literally a year ago, I was there in their place, doing the exact same thing, with my future totally wide open in front of me and a carefree summer to look forward to. I can still remember exactly how I felt, how hot and oppressive the robes were, and all the pictures that were taken. Time really flies.

(Also a GPOY of Grace and me just because I really like us in that picture haha.)

I found this in a closet tonight. Super nostalgia-inducing. I remember when a girl on my soccer team in elementary school had a purple one and I thought it was the coolest thing ever so I bought a teal one (by far the better color). And barely used it.
Now, more than eight years later, I still think it’s super cool.
Yeah, I’m a loser. A LOSER WITH A PERSONAL WATER MISTER. That’s right.

Blowing dandelions is one of my favorite things to do. It brings me back to the innocent, carefree days of childhood. I wish more grew around where I live.
